Article in today's West Australian quoting STO VP for eastern Australia saying STO expects "significant shale production in this country by 2017".
Gotta say that is sooner than I thought likely.
Also "large number of multinational oil and gas companies" keen to explore to meet demand. Presumably explore for shale gas.
