"BHP Billiton's manganese & nickel boss Chris Pointon has wasted no time coming to grips with his new business in Perth. Pointon will be moving from London to the Division's new home in Perth next month after the successful takeover of WMC resources. Not only did Pointon front WMC employees this week, promising them their jobs were safe, he was spied with Heron Resources boss Ian Buchhorn. BHP Billiton snared 10% of Heron in April ".
Is there any significance to this, apart from two men in the same industry just sizing each other up ? I would imagine Inco would want to sign their deal ASAP before BHP get other ideas.
