Actually they do subject to the approvals granted and the extent to which the local council/share requires maintenance contributions. This is regardless of the state government approvals.
There is a set rate per ton or per movement depending on which jurisdiction you are in.
That said it certainly will not affect this project but it is a consideration for lower cost transported goods such as quarries and the like. Somebody needs to maintain the road.
Just thought this needed to be responded to because the thought that heavy haulage gets anything for free would irk any in the industry!
