# Fact one WA was for ten months covid free. # fact two, the hotel guard was infected with the UK variant, a stronger more contagious strain. # fact three WA had for al intense and purposes given up been covid careful, ( we had had it so good, for so long) . # fact four, the guards ability to infect was unknown, was he a super carrier or not? # fact five, his known travels around the town. Decision time, roll the dice ( the monte carlo method), or have a short sharp lockdown ( like SA had). Again, with the known facts in this pilgrims opinion ,the lockdown was the better option.
I watched the Vic govt. on sky maybe it was yesterday, they seem to be going to the inth degree, ( I agree with it), I would expect the health Dept. here in WA to be doing the same.
