Not sure what I’m in denial about. Can you list the years since democracy in Taiwan when their economic growth was higher than China’s? I’ll give you a hint: it won’t be a very long list. I’m not saying they aren’t wealthier, but do you really think that a 30 year head start isn’t a factor?
