I think you are wrong with their reporting on this well as it is not being operated by VPE. So you really cant blame VPE. (yet).

Secondly - assumptions are the mother of all fackups

Reviewing their time lines for the past week indicates they were achieving reasonable drill depths per day and then became less and less by Friday.

There should have been an announcement today regardless of the depth and regardless of any discovery.

I am thinking they have had a delay and there may be a problem they are trying to resolve.

And yes, i thought there would have been some update on the other wells seeing as they have released their propagander for the Energy Conference last week.

Just in case all parties are suffering from MondayITIS, lets see what happens on Tuesday. ; )
