West Oil's next well, Crackling South-1 in EP-341 is expected to spud
in the next 2 to 3 weeks. West Oil has a 22.5% interest in the
Crackling South-1 well with a target of 30 million barrels. Tap Oil
is the operator.

The timing of the well is dependant on the release of the rig from
the Cliff Head joint venture in the offshore Perth Basin.

West Oil is also negotiating to farmin to another Carnarvon Basin
permit where it will earn an approximate 7.5% interest by funding
part of a well to be drilled around mid year.
