Bodgea, you allude to on-site communications. I believe that there is no mobile or text service in the exploration area, and that includes the camp about 12kms north. I expect the crew would be staying at the camp, but that's a total guess, They could be camping out or staying at Meekatharra for all I know. Meeka and a bit north would have communications though.

There is a mobile tower at DeGrussa I believe, but that's a long way away.

Anyway, we would expect that all drill workers would want to protect their jobs in this now tighter job market. Releasing info would be sackable offence.
