    It will be interesting to see what happens to African Petroleums licenses in Gambia A1 and A4 now that they have lost these.

    Seeing they are to the South of FAR's Senegals licenses and north of FAR's AGC profound and Sinapa, I wonder if there has been any dialogue between FAR and the Gambian govt in potentially acquiring these licenses. The Abdullah prospect looked like an exciting one and merged into FAR's Senegal license (at one stage it looked like a free well, when AP were going to drill this prospect).

    AP also owned the Senegal Offshore Profound block. If FAR owned this block as well as the Gambian licenses then you will see on the map they will own in part most of the true western frontier of Africa. This drill in Senegal not only if for 'x' barrels of oil, but also opens up a whole new frontier.

    Same could be said for Kenya
