Schatz, IMO they can get it halted at a Federal level which would then be up for a challenge by the States in the High Court. Bandt can raise a Private Members Bill in the Reps and can negotiate it through the Reps with Labor and the Independents on something like The Budget. The Greens own the Senate so no problem getting it through there. For sure Bob Brown is after uranium mining as we only export $1B of it, but he still wants it included in the mining tax along with gold. Doesn't make sense when we export $12B copper and $10B bauxite/aluminium. It's really up to Labor not to cave in.
