Anyway GP asked him about the high court challenge, while he may be a labor person DaveR, due to his profession, he moves in the western suburbs "elite circles ".
Anyhow, he said he was at a high level blue rinse soiree ( Im paraphrasing ), and even the well heeled libs supporters don't want the border opened.
Just as with the GST debate, where it was apparent that sandgropers enmasse , were prepared not to vote liberal, only then did the fed libs heed the tealeaves, it's the same here, though I suspect, on an even far greater scale, if that is possible.
