The issue is not if the price will go down after consolidation, the real issue is if the consolidation will cause the fall. Without it the sp is in freefall because its core sector is ******.
Giving examples of other companies where the price has gone down after consolidation is frankly bizzare as you do not know the history behind each case.
If the directors thought the consolidation would accelerate the sp decline why would they go for it. The suggestion here is that PI with a few hundered bucks worth of shares know more about WMT than the full time officers.
As for watch and learn, I sold most of my holding last week before the latest decline (stated on here at the time) so I dont see much to learn from holders who have watched there capital decline.
Last weeks was sold at a premium and I fully expect the remainder to be sold at a loss but not this week.
