two classic example of bad share consolidation
AVH...Consolidated at 10 to 1 so 2c became 20c..now trading at 7c but been as low as 4 I think..total loss considering I think they traded at one time over 2 dollars.
Lion Energy..10 to 1 consolidation around 5c were at after consolidation now 50c now at 6c. In both recent cases the shares returned to almost pre consolidation prices within months...
Both of those companies had in excess of $12m in the bank and little or no debt...in the case of Lion it is at best a milch cow for the directors who no doubt will suck it dry within a couple of years. AVH at least appears to be trying..
I see WMT in similar situation...lot of cash, no debt, no real future (advanced dreams maybe)...IMHO a consolidation with no viable projects will end up thesame as examples 1 and 2.
I have no position at the moment as I have held these shares for years and I have no idea which way to jump
