You would have to determine which ones were former bond holders converted to equity due to inability to meet interest payments. One would think at some point some would want to get out of their equity positions due to risk managment/ policy etc. Therefore someone may accumulate from distressed seller but at their price not the distressed seller. overall the small shareholder has no say. so do your reseach.
