    Sticking with the HZN/KPL connection:

What's the likelihood that $13 billion OSH seeks to consolidate by acquiring much smaller HZN ($170m) & KPL ($30m)?

    Connecting some dots:

29/3/17 via the Oz: 'Industry speculation on potential buyers for the Repsol stake includes Oil Search, which has spoken of the opportunity for mid-scale LNG in PNG.'

12/6/18: Repsol stake to be sold to Chinese interests.

1/6/18 via SMH: 'EY’s 2018 global mergers and acquisition survey found more than 60 per cent of oil and gas executives surveyed intended to pursue acquisitions...'

H1/2018: Various ASX O&G M&A deals so far e.g. AWE (sold), Lattice (sold), SEH (ongoing), TAP (ongoing), STO (unsuccessful).

OSH TO has been raised before, however, the macro fundamentals haven't been this good for a number of years. Timing could be right now.

    Thoughts?
