It's not over with WES yet. But there's a risk it will fall further if WES backs off - which I think is possible. There isn't the same level of emotion involved as with Kidman and that can skew investment decisions. I'm still holding some of my funds back for that event.
I'll celebrate all the same if WES comes back with a higher offer (50% still held), but looking at it now a $1.90--> $2.25 WES position is not enough of a gain for me for that risk that potentially there will not be that higher offer. I'd rather wait till after the doomsday i.e. $1.50-1.60 to return when the Malaysia licence conditions are clarified.
