why would that be a surprise - Australia has the highest cost for everything. I've said it b4, but the dollar parity was the pin to pop our delusional bubble, a bubble that could only be sustainable if we were to forgo globalisation. But globalisation's been embraced first by our manufacturers and retailers and now by the consumers. We are doing to the conglomerates what they had done to us.
