Sydney - Thursday - August 3: (RWE Aust Business News) - Westgold
Resources (ASX:WGR) has assay results from the first diamond drill hole
at Explorer 142, Rover project, Northern Territory, which confirms
significant high-grade copper mineralisation.
The intersection of 20 metres at 3.1 per cent copper, 0.24 grams
per tonne gold, 0.06pc bismuth and 0.09pc cobalt shows continuity and
thickness of mineralisation between wide spaced historical holes.
A second drill hole has intersected the target ironstone
approximately 50 metres vertically above the first hole.
Results are expected within four weeks.
