In Australia’s morning and the ABC Insiders program, Australian Treasurer Josh Frydenberg has told everyone including Westpac shareholders, Board, executives, everyone to wait until the Westpac AGM on December 12 and presumably vote down the Board. I mean if Frydenberg could do something to stimulate the economy, Westpac might have the good enough people to stop things like this AML issue occurring at a bank like Westpac. Was not his Royal Commissiona Nd his Commissioner Hayne supposed to Fix all that?

Frydenberg failed.

Frydenberg’s Government lets in 190,000 every year, many of them no doubt no better than some of these LitePay customers, 31% of them not any good at all, Australia’s economy bumbles on with a negative GDP per capita, using only huge enormous unsustainable immigration numbers to prop up one of the sickest western economies in the world based on per capita metrics, value add metrics, strip out iron ore exports, immigration numbers and you could reasonably argue Australia has had the worst ever economy in the history of the modern world.

is it then any surprise that international transactions and a oligopolistic bank with the poor compliance and poor risk controls as mentioned in the Royal Commission, was subject to such a scandal..

This could be the case of an economy putting its financial system and international transfers system in jeopardy.

Having that much immigration must make exploitation and modern slavery more prevalent in Australia as well.

31% unemployment for newly arrived immigrants must put a lot of young kids in poverty and potential of exploitation too.

What has Frydenberg done about all the dodgy websites like heavy-r, wechan, xchan and all?

easy for Josh to put blame for social ills on Westpac, why not his own government for all the rampant immigration and enormous unemployment rate amongst newly arrived immigrants out of that 190,000 immigrants that move there every year?

child exploitation down to Westpac? This Government better concentrate on governing now that it is an effective one party country, Australia, and stop scapegoating others for Australia’s social ills IMHO.
