Westpac do not connect with their shareholders. NAB had a smaller dividend and a capital raising giving share holders access to some shares at $14.15. CBA had a dividend which was 50% which met the regulators requirements. We find out about ANZ tomorrow. Meanwhile Westpac take a bizarre approach and the share price is hammered. There were so many other options they could have done, but no chose to do nothing.
