PS - there have also been issues with webiress recently where CHI-X algos are managing to get orders to the market faster than on they get to trade match on te ASX, hence the HUGE rise in CHI-X trading over the last two months. Because those server can actually front run orders AFTER they get to the market on non-chi-x servers!!! They are responding to orders AFTER they are submitted at match price yet trading BEFORE those orders. Freaking unbelievable. And I swear the main platform providers are actually making their systems MORE CLUNKY to further disadvantage retail because the new system is such a massive pot of never ending honey.
It is absolutely UNBELIEVABLE that ASIC has allowed this so called public market system to be built and due to lobbyists continues to sit on it's hands and say there si "No problem" and nothing need to change.
The public markets are FUNDAMENTALLY broken in Australia.
