    Wayne Swan probably thought he won when he pressured the banks into cutting interest rates. Well they've responded by 1. reducing the "discounts" on their rates and now 1. cutting jobs at a rapid rate. The latest is Westpac with another 560 jobs lost. Try paying the mortgage on Centrelink benefits!
