I don't believe this is about training imported Indians to be replacements on Australian soil and hence sacking Aust workers. It's training for over seas call centres for reduced labour costs.
I doubt an Aust call centre operator would earn $60k bit if they did then 180 workers is $11million plus say, 10% super plus costs like Workers' Comp premiums and LSL/Holiday loading etc, you are still talking chump change for any bank let alone Wespac.
Didn't all the banks sack staff ten yrs ago or so and then reversed the trend with PR stating more centres opening to serve us better and some opened on Saturdays etc. Now it's back to reversing the trend.
I wish they would get off their arse and open before 9:30am and shut later than 4pm(Fri 5), how is anyone meant to access a bank within those hours!
