"There were guarantees for Australian Banks, no bailouts." How does that sentence make sense?
CbrMaroon's insights and eloquence are more coherent, more justifiable and not playing on semantics of language to justify Australian banks' well known issues with money laundering (see the topic of this thread), anti-trust regulation and "responsible lending".
American banks are IMHO far more policed in terms of money laundering, anti-trust non-competitive practices and any failures to lend appropriately are ruled out of order by the judicial system.
