Yes, perhaps $40 AUD as a WBC SP is beyond the capability of Steven Gregg as Westpac chair because his record is of being a company capital and SP destroyer, with Ampol, Westpac and The Lottery Corporation all being smashed by regulatory pressures, money laundering issues in 2 of them and poor CEOs continuing under the embattled Chair Steven Gregg.
$1.68 million is clearly an overspend on Steven Gregg that they could have better spent on eliminating Westpac's money laundering problems, anti trust responsible lending and auto finance issues.
Steven Gregg and the Board need to get a better CEO than the now embattled Anthony Miller who has not worked as obvious from the WBC SP collapse.
DEI Appointees at Westpac have also led to a destruction of value, Nerida Caesar, Debra Hazelton (new and from the Royal Commission scandal plagued AMP), Margaret Seale, Shannon Finch who signed off on the bad Auto Finance deal, Nell Hutton, Carolyn McCann, Christine Parker (who wants to join Westpac and the money laundering crusade anyway) and Catherine McGrath, and Ryan Zanin are not known for their competence but DEI seems to be more paramount in their eyes than WBC SP performance.
