More relevant to Westpac are the ClubsNSW money laundering allegations as brought up on ABC Australia’s Four Corner Program just aired down in Australia,
According to the ABC program, a leaked Board paper from ClubsNSW report estimated 95% of money laundering controls in NSW clubs were not met.
So I hope that Westpac does not bank any clubs in NSW?
The ABC compared ClubsNSW to the National Rifle Association and said clubs were out of control with pokies and problem gamblers. Comparable to gun clubs.
Hope Westpac has debanked all those folk.
