obviously the evidence points otherwise. The Rudd Government did bail out the Big 4 banks by giving them each a deposit guarantee to shore up confidence so they did get a form of bail out in Australia.
Fat lot of good it did. Since the bailout, Australian banks have banked child abusers of kids in the Phillipines, had customers that have become suspect to frauds, scams and money launderers, banked casinos, foreign students without permanent visas, non permanent visa holders, criminals, prostitutes and paedophiles.
Did the banks learn anything from the RC? Doesn’t look like it.
Perhaps we need another RC To go over it all again and look to see what has happened since.
