Milking falsehoods like “Australian banks did not get a bailout” when a bank guarantee was in fact provided by the Government to the banks is neither virtuous nor is pro stock PR nor pro executive communications especially when it involves a Board and executive whose bank got fined for money laundering amid child abuse in another country using their accounts.

Being sycophantic to a poorly performing stock is nothing to be valued, being sycophantic to a poor performing stick, Board and executive are features best ignored as totally conflicted.

If an entourage follows such sycophantic nonsense, it says more about the followers than it does anything else.

Confirmation bias and self selection bias especially when they involve an ignorance of the facts are not virtuous,
