    A little better but not a great result from WBC in the results,

    It is not great, the provisions look understated, still has reputational issues, only. A buyback not a larger dividend.

    the buyback is a flawed mechanism.

    the dividend is not high which could indicate there are some hideous surprises coming down the track as why would the dividend not be higher?

    Nothing from Peter King about resigning after the Paedopac debacle.

    Will WBC be able to acquire or receive the capital stricken and under fire Macquarie Group? Not based on this result, they ain’t.
