    Your assuming that everyone pays tax like your self, with interest in a super fund once in retirement mode there is no tax and given WBC propensity to drop in price you can find yourself with a decent dividend but also an equal portion of capital loss. EG you get a 72c dividend and if you're lucky the share price only drops by 75c.

    The number of boomers going into retirement is growing rapidly, and people are living longer and are more risk averse as they age.

    So I find your logic only works to a certain point and lets face it Peter King was not likely to anything else.
