Moody’s has re-rated the Westpac credit from a low base, but Moodys got the Great Recession wrong and Lehman’s Brothers wrong so it is exactly an endorsement that you want, and agin from a very low base.
WBC SP still has not cracked $27, nowhere near $39.
The other completely beaten up bank down in Australia, BOQ, did so much better than Westpac going up more than 2.18%.
