The problem with people like us are we know too much. We understand that the Australian banks are leveraged to the EU etc and the RBA cannot entirely control rates. Meanwhile 99% of the Australian population does not understand this and when that is the case, the market can be irrational for decades and we miss one of the greatest property bull runs in the history of the world. I honestly believe most of Australia's politicans do not understand just how leveraged the Australian banks really are
