Yeah I don't think anyone would be taking calls in the office re: announcements. Everyone will know at the same time.
Unless..... It's visible mineralisation then the first to know are
1) a good experienced driller
2) geologist
3) field assistants
4) friends and family of the aforementioned just joking
5) managers/directors
6) shareholders
That's why there is most commonly a little run prior to an announcement
