My point on the "horizon" is that it is not a one horse race. We can assume it was the GSA that flushed LB out as a bidder.

The horse they are competing against is the gsa w/ santos - that will take years to build... and derive value for WCL. But the projected unrisked values to wcl make the LB offer inadequate.

What purpose do LB want wcl for anyway? Is the gsa in line with their plans anyway?

As for $8.50? wcl can only make reasonable predictions based on the evidence at hand, and ther e is already more than enough evidence out there to suggest 8.50 is a responsible price point - it was the first number I used in my dcf analysis before assuming a reduction in price from about 2018 to something like 6.50 to 7.00.
