' "Shares in Kalahri Minerals climb 2.4 percent after the miner says the initial resource estimate at its Namibian prospect, Rossing South, exceeds expectations by a considerable margin, news which Ambrian analyst Brock Sailer calls "phenomenal".

"This is the best discovery by an AIM-listed miner since Centamin Egypt's discovery at Sakari in early 2000," Sailer says.

The 108 million pounds of U308, or uranium oxide, at a grade of 430 parts per million (PPM), Ambrian had expected 300 ppm, has confirmed Rossing South as the highest grade uranium deposit in Namibia.

Ambrian, which upgrades the stock to "buy" from "speculative buy" adds, "with mining and power company-linked investors already in Kalahari...we expect Kalahari shares to gain significantly over the coming months". '
