...its funny how GM now claims East Timor is an issue.......wasn't the Australian Army the ones who liberated the East Timor people from Indonesian rule?
Its an emerging state with all the status of a soverign state.......for better or worse.
or does GM want Australia in there meddling with internal affairs of East Timor?
Australia has to nurture along these democracies.......and respect their soveriengty...not rule them.
Australia will always be short militarily........we do not support a large Military unless ofcourse GM is now suggesting Australia should have a much larger military.
