I had 1Mil WFE shares. Can anyone suggest if we can claim Capital Loss for the WFE delist on ASX.

My esuperfund SMSF admin replied my enquiry saying - "We note that the shares are delisted from the ASX. However, the capital loss for the shares can only be claimed when a loss declaration has been issued in writing by the liquidator/administrator. We note that no loss declaration has yet to be issued. Accordingly, we advise that the capital loss cannot be claimed in the 2020 FY accounts."
