A while back I made the below calculator to predict month on month NTA changes and correlating SP movements. The original intent was to calculate the option value at the time which then evolved into the NTA tracking. (See NTA tab) The idea is to simply compare price movements of the top 20 shareholdings on an equal weighting. If a new one is introduced, delete the removed stock. IT's not perfect, but surprisingly accurate for it's simplicity. Google finance pulls the information automatically.
As you can see it is outdated, as I sold based on there I was the NTA moving.
I'm making this available open source, with the request that if anyone updates it, please follow my lead and share it back here with the community.
Interestingly. if we stuck to the May 21 top 20 portfolio without touching it, NTA would be up some 8% before dividends.
