For those that don't want to read the RMS report, RMS spent $121M on capital in 2024 plus $97M buying Spartan shares. A deposit that could have increased the grade going through the WGX mills, like MGV. Not quite "literally stopped investing in all their assets".
WGX is catching up on a capital backlog, much from before Wayne's time so he can't wear all the blame, but Revenue - Cost needs to be more than zero. It should be 1000/oz at the moment plus a few hundred reinvested. There are only so many costs you can cut before you need to change the grade mined.
