Here is just my 2 cents concerning CFDA on the rumour mill.

For official registration of CFDA, it has to be passed within their internal 'oversight' committee. My sources within China is that there has been an overhaul of this oversight committee. This "supposedly" was linked to scandals regarding pharmaceutical products from India.

With the oversight committee being overhauled (told about 75% of their senior directorship equivalent being removed) this has created a massive backlog. This is why since the start of 2018 there has been no new CDFA registration.

This is why WHA having completed all the requirements back in March 2018 still has not received the registration.

I have tried to get a sense on the timeframe delay and was told "3-4 months".

Everyone should do their own research on the issue but thought I's just share my 2cents.
