    Yes. Not only have I eaten it but I have served it up to others that thought it was beef. The secret is to mask the whale oil smell. That can be done with onions and a little garlic. It helps to choose a cut that is free of fat, the front part of the fillet or behind the head as the head is removed from the backbone. It also helps to cook fast and very hot. Savory mince is also a proposition, adding coconut juice and coconut meat also helps. I have also used a red wine marinade with success.
