I visited Albany only once. My association was at Byron Bay and Barrier Island in NZ. I was at Byron Bay during its construction and worked there during the first 2 seasons. I was in charge of designing, building and managing the Barrier Island station. Two years after it closed, I went back for two weeks when the Melanesian mission tried to get it going again but they only caught two whales in that 2 weeks.
