The high costs of employing people doesn't help.
Arrium have now stopped all fly-in/fly-out workers.
Those that live in or around Adelaide have been offered a lift by bus instead of a flight.
If men quit because of this then that will open up new employment opportunities for men that live in Whyalla and its surrounds.
