most people in the qantas lounge travel. And work. And most are tired. However occasionally you get people in their who are distinctly out of place because they don’t work. Those people have to pull out their phone and pretend they are important and talk about some tin pot shares they think might make them money. I know because I sometimes had to travel with one sometimes. I always found him embarrassing in the lounge. I imagine now he calls everyone else useless and incompetent but I think it’s projection or envy on his part. Personally I’d rather deal with people who actually work for a living however average they are then people who pretend they work and make money. I don’t care whether they are executives, miners or ballerinas. It’s better than going through life as a loser
