Yes it will be interesting and could certainly play out many ways.
CHK do however appear to know their value to the majors as evidenced by the current patient approach which while frustrating to shareholders is the right way to move forward to get a great outcome for directors and shareholders imo.
I noticed a headline from the Australian on the 2 December which states BHP are currently finalising a process to appoint a M&A Vice President and are becoming more active at the junior end of the market.
I don't have access to read more but very interesting to see none the less.
