    sezzle received $11m from Zip but had already spent $7.5m on the merger according to the annual report. I'd argue that lots of opportunities were lost (such as merchant acquisition) as well as management's time wasted, during those 6 or so months and Sezzle would be in a more advanced position today had it never happened.
