Ever considered the possibility that those original numbers were too optimistic ?
If you look at the parameters RMS set when calculating the reserve at Tampia they are quite different from the originals ...now we know RMS are cautious and conservative but things like block size ,minimum mining width etc seemed realistic to me and there was no top cut previously (and that's fairly standard) .
I'm no expert but I'm guessing you aren't either (no insult intended) but the point I'd like to make is that the takeover was decided by the big holders and I bet they got expert opinion before they agreed .

Sorry you still feel disgruntled and do recognise you are entitled to an opinion BUT are you (OR I for that matter ) qualified to judge which of the two managements had the more accurate appraisal ?
Only one point where I might tend a little to your way of thinking .....the increasing GP might have changed things a little for the positive since those studies were done ...both of them !
