Digging holes and growing cattle sheep and clipping wool is all fine and dandy but it’s time we started to think about using these resources in a way so as to value add before it leaves our shores.

We don’t need to ask permission from anyone.
What we have lacked though are the elected officials willing to consider choices that may be considered decisive as it can effect short term voting.
Perhaps these submarines are the first step to nuclear power stations becoming part of the answer to cheap effective power generation?
Surely no thinking person would believe that wind and PV’s are going to drive our country in a meaningful way into the future?
This switch away from those French submarines is more than just a navy issue.
