    When I was buying hybrids for pennies in the dollar back in March 2009, there were plenty of folk who thought that expectations of recovering face value were unrealistic. They were wrong and so are you.

    Some companies went bust, most recovered. A couple, Elders and Paperlinx, have continued to limp along, bleeding money as they go. The quality of management is a key factor, and prior Paperlinx management left a lot to be desired.The jury is still out on the current management team.

    If Papelinx can return to sustainable profitability, then hybrid prices will recover. If they continue to lose money, then I agree that the hybrids are ultimately worthless.
