i don't need to link Akida to artificial general intelligence. The company is already doing that in their hiring criteria:
Computational Neuroscience researcherJob description
We are looking for talented and driven Computational Neuroscientists to contribute to the development of our next generation of Akida neuromorphic devices. The right person for this position will work with our professional team to develop next-generation devices for use in Artificial General Intelligence applications. Work will initially focus on researching biological structures of the neocortex, analyzing collected data, and development of software algorithms to simulate its functions. As development milestones are reached, focus will shift to implement these models on our custom hardware. The ideal candidate will have experience with both human neurological research and simulation of neural structures in Python and MATLAB, and will play a hands-on role in research, development of models, assessment of results and creative thinking. This person should be comfortable with problem solving in a startup environment – working independently and taking charge of projects.
